A 69-year-old man is in serious condition after being pulled from a blaze in Edinburgh last night.
The man was rescued from the blaze at a sheltered housing complex, in Thorntree Street, Leith, by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
Staff at the Sheltered Housing Complex have so far declined to comment.
A fire service spokesman said four crews attended the blaze, which started at 7.23PM and was brought under control by 8.47PM
