There is a glimmer of hope for the town of Grangemouth this afternoon as crisis talks between Ineos and Unite have reopened.
It is hoped an agreement can be met within the next 24hours.

The future of Grangemouth chemical plant hangs in the balance today, as crisis talks continue between owner Ineos and Unite workers union.
Yesterday, it looked as if there was set to be no happy ending for employees at Grangemouth Petrochemical Plant. But a surprising u-turn by Unite today has brought new hope for the 800 jobs under threat.
